News from the Tianjin blast ( from Junma )
13 of august 2015
My office is located at 11 km from the blast epicenter that happened in the Binhai New Area (滨海新区) apparently in the Tianjin port area.
As far as I know, the company that Tianjin Dongjiang Port Rui Hai International Logistics Co. Ltd – where the explosion have taken place – host dangerous chemical material as the ones able to produce such a mushroom cloud.
To measure its impact, It is important to realize that the fireball was three hundred meters above the nearby forty floors building.
A friend told me a couple of time ago that nuclear waste were channeled nearby the port.
At the moment, soldiers equipped for nuclear, chemical and biological hazards have been dispatched in the area.
I do think that one of the structural causes of the disaster is the corruption.
Homes were built close to the site while the Chinese regulations prohibit them within one kilometer of warehouses. So the first homes were within 600 meters from the warehouses containing chemicals, including 700 tons of cyanide sodium.

Tianjin, death city…
Tianjin, the disaster is even greater that we could imagine.
Sodium cyanide, the most rapidly acting of all known poisons, has deteriorated the Tianjin’ sky already very polluted and vulnerable.
The local authorities have admitted that the NaCN level exceeds 300 times the standard norms.
The million tons of dead fish found in the Bohai Sea (渤海) stated that the whole local food chain is severely – entirely – affected.
Apart from the financial and economic consequences, this is why it is to be feared that damaging consequences will shortly affect the inhabitants.
The local authorities have been unresponsive to challenge the situation.
They should have cleared the area of people, at least 1 or 2 millions of persons.
This is the height of hypocrisy.
As usual, the wealthy and the local government dignitaries have left the area.
Long before the disaster struck, because of the Tianjin recurrent pollution, some have already taken the initiative by sending their kids to foreign countries or elsewhere.
Only the poorest remain there.
Undoubtedly, in these times, China performs badly.
